Sweetwater International (SI) and Utah State University (USU), in cooperation with Sweetwater Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited (SWPK) and Sweetwater International Development Initiative (SIDI), and with generous support from the USDA Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service (CSREES), announce the SI/USU Professional Dairy Management Seminar June 5 – 16, 2006 to be held at the Avari Hotel in Lahore, Pakistan. This seminar brings leading experts from one of the United States’ top dairy teaching and research centers to Pakistan for two weeks to discuss modern dairy practices and management systems. The goal of the seminar is to facilitate greater understanding of current dairy practices in both countries and to identify strategies for improving both the quantity and quality of locally produced milk in Pakistan. This seminar is the precursor to the SIDI/USU Professional Dairy Herdsman Program that will be launched in early 2007.
