Sweetwater International, Inc. was founded more than 10 years ago in Salt Lake City, Utah. While exploring methods of remediation for the treatment of saline-sodic waters and soils on a ranch in Central Utah USA, the founders discovered an old technology (sulfur burner) that proved very successful in reducing the alkalinity and pH of irrigation water. However, due to cost restrictions and other factors of current technology at that time, they began development and research in an attempt to make a better machine. This resulted in the creation of the Sweetwater Solution Generator™ or SSG™ sulfur burner – a multi-patented and improved technology that is more efficient, affordable, and safe for use all around the globe. Sweetwater’s research didn’t end there, but in fact has continued with the introduction of new and improved patented designs that continue to add to the success and application of this technology. With ongoing research and refinement in the US, Pakistan, and other parts of the world, Sweetwater International continues to lead the industry in the development and use of sulfur burner technology. One of the key factors that led to the successful development of the SSG was the involvement of industrial and educational experts in the fields of soil chemistry, salinity management, crop science, chemical engineering, irrigation, agronomy, and other fields to help make this the best and most affordable machine available. As Sweetwater’s network of experts grew, the founders became aware that many other industries, including golf, wastewater treatment operations, CBM (Coal Bed Methane extraction), dairy farming, and landscape management were also in need of a solution for their water and soil, especially problems dealing with high salts, carbonates and bicarbonates, as well as high pH. For this purpose, Sweetwater has expanded its technology to provide innovative solutions through its product line to meet the needs of many industries. With this in mind, we look forward to continuing the expansion of this product to those in need. |
